ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS       

Is admitted as runner, anyone from both genders, aged from 16 years old by the time the race will start.

Anyone can be admitted as a supporter.

Under age participants (Runners and supporters) will have to provide a discharge letter signed by at least one of their parents the day of their entry in order for them to be accepted in the race, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult all along the race.

All runners must attach a Health Certificate dating less than 6 months and attesting his/her physical capacity to participate to a long run sporting event. A empty copy is available on the organization’s website: http://www.racing-madagascar.com

The Health Certificate MUST be provided to the organization during the registration or at the latest, during the bib collection one day before the start of the race.

The registration deadline for RACING MADAGASCAR is the 18th of June, 2017 at midnight, subject to available remaining entries. The maximum number of entrants is set at 100 runners.

Race check-in is on Monday, 10th of July 2017

ENTRY FEE - PAYMENT - SERVICES

Entrance Fee for Racing Madagascar is 1 500 euros per runner.

Entrence procedure:

  1. Fill in the form & accept the general terms & conditions
  2. Racing Madagascar approve your pre-entry under 48 hours
  3. Proceed to payment to finalize your entry by:

Commitment is firm and conclusive and includes all services detailed in the General Rules.

In short terms, this fee includes:

  • The bib
  • Logistics (Water supplies, camp putting up and putting down, checkpoints, drop bags transfers)
  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner on camps and the cocktail for the closing ceremony
  • Accommodation in tents on the camps
  • B&B accommodation for the 2 nights pre/post race (9th and 16th of July) at our partner hotel (2 stars)
  • Security on camps
  • Medical assistance throughout the race and in the camps
  • Organization Public liability
  • 1 prize for Finishers

This fee does not includes:

  • Airplane tickets
  • Accommodation outside the dates of the event: From Sunday 09th to Sunday 16th of July (included)
  • Visas and vaccines (No mandatory vaccines to come to Madagascar but an anti malaria treatment is recommended)
  • Side activities (Sport, cultural, social…) offered by local providers during free time in the afternoons

Foreigners wanting to travel to Madagascar must have passport validity beyond 6 months counting from their arrival in the country.

All registration cancellations must be done by email or by post. No cancellation will be considered by fax or phone.

Bib swapping before the race is not allowed.

In case of injury of the runner and only in this case, occurred after registration and non-totally healable before the event: the organization recommends the injured runner not to put himself in danger and to cancel his/her registration and ask a race postponement for next year. In this purpose, the runner must request a demand to the medical committee. This request must be attached with a detailed medical file. If the medical committee agrees on it, the runner will be granted registration for next year’s race.

The medical committee is the only judge for postponement request and its decision is irrevocable.

All requests must arrive attached with a medical file at the latest 10 days after the injury occurred. Requests are processed within 2 months following the injury.
